Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said;
"Whoever has three daughters and is patient towards them, and feeds them, gives them to drink, and clothes them from his wealth; they will be a shield for him from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection."
Sunan Ibn Majah 3669
Being patient with daughters requires one to understand their emotional states and individual needs. When a young girl does not feel validated for she may grow to be a young woman who uses her sexuality to fulfill her void.
Ways to make your daughters feel validated:
Talk to them. Try to understand how they feel about life, you, their siblings, family dynamics etc. Understand life from their point of view.
Get to know them. Find out what their interests are. Create activities where you can engage with them through something they love (not something you want them to love).
Ask them about themselves. Find out how they feel about them. You might be surprised at the response you get.
We must keep our children upon the Qur'an and Sunnah. Most importantly, we must show them the example of how to practice it properly so that they may know how to practically apply it in their lives.
May Allah Grant us Tawfeeq. Ameen.
